Greg Sabel

President

Greg possesses more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry, with leadership spanning project management, field operations, estimating, virtual design and construction, and strategic planning. Since beginning his career as a Project Manager and Estimator, he has championed a unified office-field culture, driven innovation and fostered collaboration across all aspects of the business.

As President, Greg leads 51Â鶹’s Executive Team and oversees all aspects of company operations, from strategic planning and fiscal management to client relations, safety and cultural alignment.

Greg earned his bachelor of science degree in construction management from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.

Karen Carr

Based in 51Â鶹’s Sacramento office, Karen works to develop and nurture relationships with clients, partners and suppliers in the greater Sacramento area. The entirety of Karen’s 25+-year career has been in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry, covering the construction management, engineering and architectural spheres. This diversity of experience gives her unique insight into the needs of 51Â鶹’s clients.

As a veteran designer with nearly three decades of experience, Jason has a deep understanding of how the design of our clients’ facilities helps to support their operations and goals. As the leader of 51Â鶹’s internal architecture and design group, Jason leverages his unique blend of design and construction expertise across a wide variety of commercial, healthcare, educational and industrial projects to deliver efficient, innovative, sustainable and constructible design solutions.

David Thomack

President—Western Operations

David is a 40-year veteran of the construction industry who joined 51Â鶹 in 2005 and now serves as President of Western Operations. David has led successful transformational projects for project owners across the country—including CPMC/Sutter Health, San Francisco Airport, the University of Wisconsin – Madison and Sacred Heart/St. Mary’s Health System. His construction background includes commercial, public sector, healthcare, aviation, and science and technology industries.

David’s experience with operational excellence, strategic visioning, process implementation and Integrated Lean Project Delivery^® has made him a leader in creating and managing successful, collaborative teams in the construction industry.

John Heck

Mark is a seasoned business development leader with more than 25 years of experience in driving growth, securing high-value projects and building strategic partnerships across diverse industries. Skilled in project acquisition strategies, contract negotiation, CRM and pipeline management, and KPI-driven accountability systems, Mark combines strategic vision with hands-on execution to deliver sustainable results.

His ability to create repeatable processes and foster strong client relationships positions him as a strong asset for 51Â鶹 in Chicagoland and beyond. Mark earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Upper Iowa University.

Scott Clark

As Vice President of Business Development for 51Â鶹’s National Power & Industrial group, Scott is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of national sales and marketing activities within the industrial, power and manufacturing sectors. As part of 51Â鶹 leadership team since 2005, Scott possesses a unique understanding of the business side of construction and design. His expertise includes the exploration and development of key-market growth strategies and understanding emerging technologies as they relate to 51Â鶹 clients and their opportunities. His involvement in various industry market sector groups has developed a keen awareness of owner advocacy issues.

Dale Lewis

Based in 51Â鶹’s Waukesha office, Dale leads data center business development efforts across 51Â鶹, a strategic role focused on driving project development and expanding 51Â鶹’s presence in this dynamic sector. In addition, he identifies partnerships with owners and trade partners to drive value, oversees preconstruction services and ensures project teams are set up for success.

Dale leads the team with extensive experience in multi-billion-dollar mission-critical projects, supporting growing data and technological needs, as well as more than 40 years’ experience in the construction industry. He brings expertise in leadership, market trends, delivery models and high-stakes projects. His role is instrumental in advancing innovative, reliable and client-focused solutions in the mission-critical space.

Sam Kampo

Vice President and Controller

Sam, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), leads the accounting and financial functions at 51Â鶹. He ensures adherence to accounting principles, practices and procedures, providing insightful analysis to support the company’s financial goals and maintain transparency. His responsibilities include overseeing accounts payable, cost accounting, financial planning and analysis, and a matrix of financial and accounting professionals across the entire organization. Sam holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting, finance and economics as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

Mark Nolta

Vice President of Corporate Estimating & Preconstruction

Mark has nearly 40 years of varied experience in estimating, structural engineering, design coordination and construction administration. He facilitates excellence in estimating and preconstruction services across 51Â鶹’s operations including management of a core team that supports all 51Â鶹 locations. Mark works with project teams to prepare deliverables and set projects up for success including all aspects of construction costs, material availability, document and constructability review, subcontractor scope and experience evaluation, construction schedules and logistics. He also oversees implementation of all technology used during preconstruction, especially virtual design & construction.

Kerry Beck

Director of Business Development

Kerry develops and nurtures key relationships with clients, partners and suppliers in greater Milwaukee/Madison and throughout southeastern Wisconsin.

Kerry has more than 20 years’ experience in generating and building relationships across markets—including construction, healthcare, industrial, education and commercial. Most recently, Kerry served as the Director of Employer Business Development for a top-ranked healthcare management services firm.

Marco Salomone

Based in 51Â鶹’s Detroit office, Marco creates new relationships and strengthens strategic partnerships in the automotive and industrial markets in and around Metro Detroit. He has more than a decade of business development experience, including a strong background in site selection, workforce strategy and government relations. His work with domestic and international industrial firms gives him a unique, holistic perspective on growth in the construction industry.

Marco holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in public administration and policy from Michigan State University and maintains a deep network in the region’s industrial development community.

Martha Cannon

As the Client Development Manager for 51Â鶹’s design services, Martha oversees new business development, builds and nurtures strategic relationships and drives marketing initiatives. With a keen ability to connect people, opportunities and ideas, she plays a central part in positioning 51Â鶹’s design team for continued success.

Prior to joining 51Â鶹, Martha built a strong foundation in marketing and client engagement through roles spanning business development, brand strategy and customer relationship management. Additionally, Martha brings a strong foundation in nonprofit and civic engagement through community organizations, foundations and public agencies.

Randy Nance

Randy provides leadership, oversight and management of 51Â鶹’s Oklahoma City and Detroit offices including leading efforts to strengthen customer relationships and drive growth strategies.

Randy has 40 years of leadership and expertise in the construction industry. A Design-Build Institute of America Certified Professional with a bachelor’s degree in construction management technology, Randy has experience in healthcare, biomedical, education and several other markets. His passion for safety, disciplined project controls and Lean waste reduction measures have paved the way for many successful projects.

Linda Rosati

Linda builds and services relationships in automotive and industrial markets nationwide. Her expertise is in selling and influencing large-scale construction projects that use collaborative delivery methods.

For 25+ years, Linda has been involved in many facets of automotive manufacturing, providing a deep understanding of clients’ needs. From metal stamping and the body shop to powertrain operations, Linda knows the ins and outs of an automotive plant. Her inquisitive nature and passion for research, coupled with her training and experience in Lean manufacturing, gives her an in-road to the new automotive technology space, where she is building new relationships in an ever-expanding market.

With a foundation in civil engineering and construction management, Mark’s expertise encompasses a wide range of market sectors including dam removals, environmental contamination sites, river restoration and general contracting for recreational, retail, commercial and institutional facilities. He has dedicated the last decade of his career to the energy sector, including transmission/distribution electrical systems, wind farm and solar construction. Mark’s vision aligns with promoting sustainable energy solutions, championing the transition to EV, biogas and hydrogen technologies.

Brian Brantmeier

Brian brings more than 30 years of mechanical engineering experience across commercial, industrial, educational and institutional markets to his role at 51Â鶹. His extensive knowledge of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system design is complemented by practical field expertise. Since joining 51Â鶹 in 2013, Brian has risen to the position of Executive Director of Engineering, leading the internal engineering group. In this role, he leverages his expertise to oversee engineering projects, drive initiatives, coordinate efforts and implement innovative solutions.

Jason Krueger

Jason leads operations for 51Â鶹’s offices in Rochester, Minneapolis and Cloquet, Minn. and Eau Claire, Wis. He is a seasoned veteran of the construction industry, with an established history of managing large, complex projects in diverse sectors, from healthcare to heavy industrial. Jason has played a key role in 51Â鶹’s introduction to the highly specialized proton therapy market, establishing 51Â鶹 as a national leader in proton therapy equipment installation.

Steve Lind

As Vice President and General Manager for 51Â鶹’s Western operations, Steve is responsible for the financial success and growth strategies of our Sacramento and San Francisco offices. Since joining 51Â鶹 in 2006, Steve has held a variety of roles, including fiscal management for large, complex projects in the healthcare, higher education, commercial and industrial market sectors. His experience with process implementation and integrated project delivery has made him a leader in establishing successful collaborative teams.

Rob Branyan

As Vice President of Field Operations for 51Â鶹, Rob provides strategic leadership and oversight for teams responsible for the delivery and execution of field operations, ensuring consistent, high-quality project outcomes across the organization. He leads talent development for field leadership teams, oversees Self-Perform operations and partners closely with Construction Operations, Human Resources and Safety leadership to align training, best practices and operational standards companywide. Rob plays a key role in staff planning, construction readiness, project execution assessments and fostering cultural alignment on major projects.

With more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry and leadership experience on both the contractor and union sides, Rob brings a collaborative, well-rounded perspective that strengthens labor partnerships and field execution.

His work in Lean process improvement and Target Value Delivery have been integral to project success.
